Installing wall cladding
Porcelain cladding installation is very similar externally as it is internally. The tile should be installed onto a well-prepared flat surface (brick/block/cement) it should not be installed on fence panels.
Once the surface is flat, you should prime the area before applying the tiles & adhesive and allow to dry – follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Apply the cladding as you would with a internal wall tile installation but using a cement based ,rapid set adhesive that is suitable for porcelain tiles. Start tiling at the centre of your structure and work your way to edges. Periodically check that the tiles are level.
If your install is going to exceed a hight of 3m then you will require a mechanical fixing solution
Ensure to use expansion gaps every 3m on either side of your cladding so that the cladding has room to expand and contract in different weather conditions.
